Refugee 3D Orthotic

Northcott Innovation is collaborating with NSW Refugee Health, Northcott and AbilityMade, creating 3D printed AFOs (Ankle Foot Orthoses) for children with disability who have recently come to Australia as a refugee.

Northcott Innovation is collaborating with NSW Refugee Health and AbilityMade, creating 3d AFOs (ankle foot orthotics) for children with disability who have recently come to Australia as a refugee.

AFOs promote independence, mobility and postural stability. Eligible participants must be under the age of 18 years old and fulfill the below requirements.

  • Have a disability;  and
  • Access refugee health services; and
  • Have been deemed to require Ankle Foot Orthoses by an appropriate medical practitioner.
