One of the biggest myths out there in the community is that people with disability have no sexual needs or desires.
It’s not true, and we’re launching the Under the Covers campaign to set the record straight.
Over a series of videos, we’ll be speaking to six people from across the disability spectrum about their experiences of:
• Sexuality and disability
• Dealing with community attitudes
• Accessing Sex workers
• Love, intimacy and relationships
The discussions in these videos are frank and fearless, and nothing is off limits.
Our participants talk candidly about everything from hooking up and dating to sex workers and masturbation.
We hope Under the Covers will raise awareness and educate the wider community about the right of people with disability to express their sexuality, have loving and fulfilling relationships and enjoy a satisfying sex life.
