One of our Velvet Expressions events earlier in the year was funded by The Aurora Group. On the 21st November, NI’s executive director Samantha Frain was invited to present and reflect upon the impact that this project had to The Aurora Group, alongside all of the other projects that they funded. The Velvet Expression Sessions aimed to open up the discussion about sexuality and disability, and remove the social taboo which constantly prohibits these individuals the right to express themselves.
