A new opportunity during COVID

Published in September 2020

2020 has been a year full of challenges for everyone. COVID-19 has impacted  all of our lives and everyone has had to reinvent ourselves in different ways. Northcott Innovation is no exception. So this year, in direct response to COVID we’ve been working very hard on a new project:  Boredom Busters.

What are Boredom Busters?

Boredom Busters are a range of engaging and entertaining activities that people with disability can participate in from the comfort of their own home. The project aims to provide people with disability and their families/supports with ideas for simple, easy, low cost activities that help break up the monotony of the day whilst everyone is at home, following COVID social distancing and/or isolation guidelines.

All of these activities have been designed by Speech, Occupational and Physiotherapists, to match the skills and capabilities of people with disability who require substantial support. Activities are accessible, inclusive and fun!
